ARSHIYA HUSSAIN.M(VIII Std) won second place in Elocution(English) and PREMITHAA.J @ Dora(IX Std) won second place in Dance competition organized by Department of Education, Puducherry in the eve of Cultural Unity Day Celebration on November 23, 2014.
All the three of our students Sunil.V, Nethaji.E & LohithKumar of Class VII won Third Place in Table Tennis in Zone II (Zonal School Games and Athletics Championships 2014-2015) organised by Indira Gandhi Govt. Hr. Sec. School, Puducherry
Our school students Roshinie.S(VII Std) And Sarusree.S(VII Std) won first and second place in Zonal Level Competition in Essay writing(tamil) organised or children as a part of Children’s Day Celebration on 31st OCtober 2014 by Governement Primary School, Indira Nagar, Puducherry
Arikkamedu Art Academy, Puducherry conducted PINK Painting Exhibition of female children to encourage and bring out the hidden talent in them. Our school students Oviya, Kirupa ranjani, Prema and Merlin Hannah, exhibited their paintings and won the award from the Chief Guest Artist. Malathi Rajavelu(President, Puduvai Oviya Nunkalai kuzhu).
Dhivya Tharani.S of Class VI won third place in Peace Poster Contest held on 21st September 2014 at Chamber de Commerce, Puducherry.
Bala Priyadharshini .M & Oviya.A (presently at class XI) got a cash price from Chambre de Commerce, Puducherry for securing State 2nd in S.S.L.C Tamil Subject in Public Examination in academic Year 2013-2014.
Gere Prassath.M (IV Std) has been awarded third place in the 7th International Ryushin Kan Shito Ryu Karate Championship in the event of below 7 years old(Boys) and second place in the 13th All India Ryushin Kan Shito Ryu Karate Championship in the event of 8-9 years old(Boys) held on 22nd – 24th August 2014.
Karthikeyan.P of Class II stood 1st rank, Rachana.C.S of Class III stood 4th rank and Parthasarathi.R of Class VI won a school topper award in 6th ALL INDIA MATHS SCIENCE TALENT EXAM held on 21.01.2014 in the academic year 2013 – 2014.
2012-2013
This year too, students participated in a number of competitions. Students were awarded the first place in both singing and Bible quiz at BLAZE 2012 – YOUTH FOR CHRIST COMPETITION.
Oviya of Std VIII is being awarded the National Child Award for Exceptional Achievement, 2012, for her outstanding artistic talent. She has shown excellence in the field of art and painting. She obtained a certificate of merit A in the All-India Camel Colours Contest held in 2003 and participated in the Solo Painting Exhibition at the tender age of 9. She is also an environmentally-conscious child artist, propagating the idea of environmental safety and protection against pollution through her paintings.
Two of our students Gautaman and Thirukumaran of Std IX have represented the state in the All-India Swimming championship. Prithviraj of Std IX was commended by the chess federation for his excellent performance in chess.
2011-2012
Childhood, much like life, is full of competition. Children compete with friends to do something quicker and or better. They compete at school to get good grades. Competition is actually good for all of us. It keeps us motivated to continue to improve and get better at whatever it is we want to do. Our students participated in various competitions including quizzes, debates, elocution competitions, art and craft competitions, conducted by the Education Department and various organizations, and won many prizes. Interhouse competitions also proved to be very competitive.
2010-2011
Students actively participated in skating and karate competitions, and won laurels for the school.Oviya of Std VI won the first prize in a drawing competition organised by Casablanca in July 2010.
2009-2010
Varshini, Shishanth, Vimalan, Patrica, Shalini, Prematha, Chassikala and Roja Sivamani won prizes in drawing, running, painting and Bharatha Natyam.
2008-2009
Students proved their talents in a competition held at Kalaimagal Kalaikoodam – Saffron‘08. Students like Keerthana, Srinithi, Nivedha, Rajarajeswari and Thuvinisha Krishnan won prizes for their wonderful performance.Our children also participated in the Children’s Day celebration held by Puducherry Govt. and were awarded for their extraordinary talents. Aniroodh. K of II Std, Kirupa Ranjani of II Std and Megha of IV Std got first, third and second prizes in fancy dress and drawing competitions respectively. We werea tough competitor at Greenathon organized by St. Patrick Higher Secondary School – Puducherry. We took away the second place in drawing by Kishan of III Std, Third place in Essay writing by Farheen of V Std and second place in Quiz competition and third prize in Environmental science – Awareness test by Thuvinisha Krishnan of VI Std.
Monica of V Std stood second in Karate organized by Puducherry Karate Association and she also got third prize in Akido held at Thanjavur and third prize in Akido organized at Puducherry .
Gowthaman and Thirukumaran of V Std who got first place in Freestyle Swimming and Breast stroke respectively.Our children also participated in competitions conducted by Pondy Yoga Centre. K. Madhumathi of VIII Std stood second in yoga, first in art and second in Sanskrit sloka. Vishnupriya. K of VI Std got second in yoga, second in singing and first in dance.
Navaneetha Krishnan and Jolive Charulesh of I Std and John Sharmalle, Hemalatha and Kalaiyarasan of III Std and S.Devapriya of VII Std got medals in Abacus.
2007-2008
Students were encouraged to participate in Inter school competitions and they won laurels for our school. Our students have proved their talents in a competition held at Bal Bhavan organized by Puducherry Government. StudentsOviya, Gayathree and Kirupa Ranjani won prizes for their wonderful performance.Our children also participated in the drawing competition held by Pidilite and were awarded for their extraordinary talents. Thuvinisha Krishnan of Std V and Oviyaof Std III stood first.We also feel very proud that we have been a tough competitor at Kala Krithi organized by Petit Seminaire Higher Secondary School-Puducherry. We tookaway the first place in dance, Second place in English Play and Oviya of Std III came first and Kripa Ranjani of Std I-A came first in drawing and colouring. Asha of Std III stood first and Thuvinisha Krishnan of std V stood second in fancy dress competition. We stood second in singing competition and thirdin Instrumental. Rajarajeshwari of Std IV was awarded the first prize in the state leveldrawing competition held by the Department ofElectricity. Our children have also proved themselves in the Science Olympaid conducted on 26th November 2007. In which Madhumathi of Std VII,Devapriya of Std VI and Thuvinisha Krishnan of Std V have stood first.
